Living Fully

My goal right now is to live fully in the moment, to enjoy ALL of life, to know today is good - to believe it and live it! Maybe that is one reason I haven't written much on my blog - I've been too busy living. I think, now and then, of things to write but it just hasn't come together to actually do a post.

This year God gave me 2 theme verses. (I don't know why. I didn't ask for 2. I guess He just knew I needed them.) The first one is very familiar to most of us: Psalms 23:1 "The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want (lack any good thing)." The second one is: Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." I was struck especially with the last phrase. I believe that as we diligently seek Him, we can claim that promise that He will reward us.

The other day I was reading the story of the woman with the issue of blood (Luke 8:43-48). She had spent lots of time and money trying to find a cure for her disease but nothing helped. When she heard about Jesus, she had faith that only touching his garment would make her whole. And it did! The thing that stood out to me was that she reached out and touched Him. I often ask Jesus to touch me but there are times that I just need to reach out in faith and touch Him (accept what He's already offered).

Reach out and touch Him today. He is waiting to bless you with life, love, hope and healing!
